We are happy to announce that we have three interesting and varied keynote speakers representing different fields of expertise at the upcoming "First Consultation Workshop" in Brescia, Italy.

will present: Harmonise monitoring of pathogens, surveillance plans Prof. Dr. Thijs Kuiken, a veterinary pathologist specialised in marine mammals at Erasmus University, Rotterdam.
- Dr. Christophe Bonenfant / National Center for Scientiﬁc Research (CNRS), France
will present: Population density/abundance estimation Dr. Christophe Bonenfant, a CNRS researcher working for the Laboratory of Biometry and Evolutionary Biology at Université Claude Bernard Lyon 1.
- Dr. Christian Imholt / Friedrich-Loeffler-Institut (FLI), Federal Research Institute for Animal Health, Germany
will present: Determinants of rodent population fluctuations and methodological approaches to estimate small herbivore density
Dr. Christian Imholt, a biologist specialised in rodent ecology and dynamics working as a PostDoc at the FLI.
